CoMoS meeting in December 2018

The CoMos modelling group will provide short tutorials and hold an open-discussion on two key topics in computing for agent-based modelling and complex data analysis:

(i) how to parallelize simulation code and statistical algorithms on server infrastuctures (e.g., those of the Institute of Economics at the San'Anna School), and

(ii) how to structure model code to be run on GPUs rather than CPUs. Advantages and disadvantages of different approaches will be discussed, and performance comparison offered.

Anyone interested in these topics is welcome to attend the meeting on Dec 19th, from 16.30 to 19.30 in Aula 6 (Sede Centrale of the School).
